Hello! My name is Mary Zamil
I am Mary Zamil, a dedicated psychotherapist with a B.A, M.A, and R.P., and the Founder & Clinical Director of my practice.
Living with anxiety myself, I understand its complexities. I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, using mind-body practices like mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and breathwork to manage my anxiety and enhance my well-being.

My practice offers a safe, supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions, addressing the root causes of their distress. Whether you face anxiety, depression, trauma, or seek greater fulfillment, I am here to help you unlock your potential and live a life of peace, purpose, and joy.

Beyond the therapy room, Mary leads an adventurous and fulfilling life deeply intertwined with the great outdoors. Mary believes that connecting with nature enhances physical well-being and offers profound mental and emotional benefits. This philosophy is often integrated into their therapeutic practices, encouraging clients to embrace the healing power of the natural world.
In addition to individual pursuits, Mary volunteers to help at the church and provides mental health workshops at schools. In addition, Mary is part of various women's groups, such as Women Growing Empires and Immigrant Women in Business.

Mary holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology and an Honors BA Degree in Child Psychology, offering a robust foundation in understanding human behavior and emotional development. With specialized certifications in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Narrative Therapy.

Mary employs a diverse range of evidence-based modalities to tailor interventions to each client's unique needs. Additionally, Mary integrates restorative yoga, mindfulness-based therapies, and movement/sound therapy into her practice, fostering holistic healing and encouraging clients to explore mind-body connections for greater self-awareness and resilience.
