At Mind Multitudes & Wellness Clinic, our mission is to transform the lives of newcomers and
marginalized communities, including women and the LGBTQ2S+ population, by fostering
resilience, emotional healing, and holistic well-being. Through the MindHeart Alliance Wellness
Program, we offer a blend of evidence-based therapies—such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(CBT), trauma-informed care, somatic experience therapy, psychotherapy, relaxation techniques,
and coping strategies—to deliver personalized and compassionate care. This program is designed
to address the unique needs of every individual in a culturally attuned and safe space,
empowering clients to overcome trauma, navigate life transitions, and thrive in their new
environments.
Funded through the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP), the MindHeart Alliance Wellness
Program is accessible to newcomers through in-person, phone, and virtual services. Our program
goes beyond therapy, assisting clients with job preparation, court hearings, and other complex
matters that may arise. We also host monthly free virtual workshops in collaboration with our
partner agencies, addressing various topics designed to support individuals through life's
challenges and transitions. In addition to these services, we integrate relaxation exercises rooted
in conventional therapies—such as breathing techniques, meditation, and mindfulness
practices—to help clients relax their nervous systems and foster a mind-body wellness
perspective. We understand the stigma often associated with counseling, especially for those
from diverse cultural backgrounds, and we are here to offer a safe, inclusive, and empowering
space to help you thrive.
